Tiidan Defense Fighter
|
6. Tiidan Defense Fighter: Using beams to deflect
incoming fire, this ship is best used for guarding capital craft. They
can't deflect mines, ion cannon fire, or missiles, but everything else
is easily repelled. It has no guns of its own, so it is best paired with
something with offensive abilities. The Defense Fighter has the ability
to dock with a Mothership, Carrier or Support Frigate for refueling and
repair. |
Tiidan Light Corvette
|
7. Kushan/Tiidan Light Corvette: Stronger then
a fighter class ship, but slower compared to it, this ship is usually used
for diverting the enemy's attention. While these ships have the opponent's
craft engaged, you can use your other forces to attack non-combat ships
left behind. Do not rely on these for heavy assault. The Light Corvette
has the ability to dock with a Mothership, Carrier or Support Frigate for
refueling and repair. |
Kushan Heavy Corvette
|
8. Kushan/Tiidan Heavy Corvette: With general
improvements on the Light Corvette, these ships also have double the guns
of that craft. They are good at taking out small fighters and can make
short work of non-combat ships without weapons. Best paired with capital
ships as guarders or as 'first punch' ships. If paired with the slower
moving Attack Bomber they can prove to be deadly. The Heavy Corvette has
the ability to dock with a Mothership, Carrier or Support Frigate for refueling
and repair. |
|
9. Kushan/Tiidan Repair Corvette: These ships
are the medics on the stellar battle field. Cheaper then their cousin,
the Support Frigate, they can do quick-fix repairs on any ship that is
damaged. The nice thing about the Repair Corvette, is that it can dock
after repairing the damaged ships it's been ordered to, and won't be out
there as easy prey. It has a small gun for defense and heavy armor, but
it's a good idea to have something guarding this ship when it is out and
about repairing. This ship also burns fuel, so it's best to dock it after
it's done its job. No image available. |
.
Tiidan Salvage Corvette
|
10. Kushan/Tiidan Salvage Corvette: This craft
has one purpose in life: to capture other ships. On a few occasions it
also can gather data, but often it can be seen dragging away an enemy ship
back to its Carrier or Mothership. They have no weapons of their own, but
the service they provide makes up for that weakness. These ships can capture
just about anything from the small fighter to the massive Carrier or Heavy
Cruiser. It's a good idea not to send these ships into battle if the enemy
is still strong, because the enemy has a tendency to drop everything and
go after the Salvage Corvettes. A good tactic with these ships is to send
them into enemy territory with a few Cloaking Generators, so that the ship
you choose to capture won't see you coming. By the time you're taking it
back to your part of the map, it won't be a threat to you and you can then
convert it to your side. The last thing you don't want to forget, is that
this ship also needs to dock every so often to refuel. |
